What career fields involve...........?

.. using microscopes and other laboratory equipment to yze things like blood samples to detect an illness/disease. Or anythings that is similar to that in the medical field that works more with data/things/investigation rather then people themselves. Am not much of a people person. Not sure if this is important but my two best subjects are defiantly math and science.
