Which of my poems sounds better? The older one or the newer one?

I love the first one. It's more mysterious and urgent, and I like the form of the poem. The second one is still a good poem but it is less expressive, as it leaves so little to the imagination. In fact, had I not read the first poem, I wouldn't be at all critical of the second but just accept it as a story poem and quite like it. I just like the first one better because it's more the style I like.
