Can i be held back? plz respond?

well basically i want to know if i could possibly fail the 8th grade. i have about 25 absences and they are all excused. the reasons for my absences are hernia surgery, sinusitis 2x, strep 3x, bronchitis, food poisoning, and breaking my foot. my grades in school are decent and at the end of each quarter i manage to have at least a C in all of my cles. I was just wondering if i could potentially fail/get held back because of too many absences.
