Amp Powering Question?

I purchased a Pyramid Amp (as a tester amp) " http://incolor.inetnebr.com/weisinator/components/amplifiers/pyramid/pb449x.htm " and I have all the wiring properly hooked up going to and from the amp, I am just unalble to get any response from the amp. The power light does not light up at any point. Why is the amp not getting power or coming on?
